As a psychologist you would be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing assessments and therapy to offenders in a safe and secure environment.
Provide professional psychologist services to offender population in compliance with mental health guidelines, to include psychological assessment and evaluation of mental health needs, individual and group therapy, clinical and behavioral management of offenders with mental illness. Work with other staff regarding the mental health needs of offenders; provide clinical consultation and guidance to offenders and staff; process documentation to provide comprehensive offender mental health records; provide crisis intervention. Communicate regularly and appropriately to offenders, clinical staff and administrative supervisors to ensure continuity within the work program. Ensure compliance with all applicable professional, departmental, organizational and unit standards.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in Psychology. You must attach a copy of your transcripts to be considered. Your transcripts must include the name of the university, your name, social security number or student ID number, type of degree received and date degree was awarded.
Registration: Applicant must be registered in the State of Colorado through the Department of Regulatory Agencies as a Psychologist Candidate as required by C.R.S. 12-43-304.
