The Supervisor of the Youth and Family Team for Compass Behavioral Health is to ensures that mental health treatment services and programs for Youth and Families meet applicable standards as Compass aspires to increase both the health and safety of our community. The Supervisor endeavors to promote recovery, resiliency, wellness, independence and safety for clientele through supervision of staff and direct services provided in accordance with the agency mission and vision. This position provides on-going oversight and supervision to those providing various services and supports to promote: 1) the welfare of clientele; 2) the professional development of staff; 3) compliance, integration and quality improvement in provision of services and supports; 4) consultation, education, and support to staff, clientele and their supports, in addition to community partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in hiring, training, supervision, evaluations, resource management and professional development of staff.
Ensure documentation compliance with all applicable state, federal, and agency standards.
Participate in the development, implementation, monitoring and oversight for various Evidence-Based, Best Practice models of service delivery (e.g., Wraparound, CPP, and school-based therapy) to ensure adherence to the OAR’s; to meet requirements for fidelity and/or to satisfy requirements of a specific grant or contract. Participate in audit reviews as required and complete required reports.
Provide support for integrated services; work with community to establish priorities; coordinate activities between clients and community resources; assist in referral of clients from one agency or treatment to another. Provide mental health consultation to community partners.
Direct Services: Provide a variety of services and supports to clientele.

Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field and at least 2 years post-experience in a community mental health setting required.
Licensed Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling preferred. At time of appointment, must possess a valid Oregon driver’s license.
Certifications Required: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC. Must meet Oregon board requirements to provide supervision for licensure within 30 days of hire and maintain board approval.
Thorough knowledge of psychological/psychosocial theory, principles and practices of mental health treatment including assessment diagnosis and treatment of specific client population, crisis prevention and planning, community resource development, and knowledge of behavior intervention, management and support strategies.
