A master’s degree in Social Work awarded by a recognized college or university
Three years of post-MSW experience with mental health and substance use counseling
Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California
The ability to conduct brief assessments as well as full psychosocial assessments when indicated
The ability to establish a rapport and communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers
The ability to function effectively as a member of an inter-disciplinary team in a primary care setting
The ability to provide a range of brief focused treatments as well as longer-term treatment for higher need clients
The ability to provide services that are relevant to the culture of the consumer and their family
The ability to secure accurate social and personal data and recording such data systematically
