SUMMARY: The Licensed Board Certified Behavioral Analyst performs a variety of job duties under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and clinical direction of the service prescriber via clinical updates and recommendations. The Licensed Board Certified Behavioral Analyst develops and directs the individualized treatment of clients collaboratively with consumers and families. The Licensed Board Certified Behavioral Analyst) provides consultation, observation, treatment plan development, data collection and analysis specific to identified target behaviors. The Licensed Board Certified Behavioral Analyst develops and implements an Individualized Treatment Plan with the child and family, identifying and highlighting child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths as well as areas in which the individual needs improvement. Provision of this service may include preference assessments, reinforcement, extinction, time-out strategies, or other rehabilitative activities as prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and referenced in the client's Individual Treatment Plan. QUALIFICATIONS: - Master’s Degree (MS or MA) in a mental health field and one (1) year documented paid experience working with children, adolescents or youth
• Must be Licensed • Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background and FBI Clearances must be obtained (CBH will assist you in obtaining these clearances) • Travel is a must so a valid PA Driver’s License is necessary • Mental Health/Behavioral Health License (LBS, LSW, LCSW, LPC) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst • One (1) Year of paid experience working with children or adolescents RESPONSBILITIES: - Develops individualized client treatment
• Provides clinical supervision of Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) workers. Provides support to parents, teachers, or community officials • Provides clinical support to direct care staff • Implements rewards and consequences relating to appropriate and inappropriate behavior • Coordinates clinical information/direction with other professionals and agencies • Exchanges information clearly and concisely with the appropriate parties and concerns • Completes all paperwork and documentation in accordance with established company policies and procedures and acceptable clinical practices within designated timeframes • Completes ongoing assessment of operationally defined target behaviors using direct and indirect methods • Performs Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) as needed (upon completion of FBA certification) • Remains updated on evidenced based behavioral practices • Provides culturally aware and competent service provision • Teaches skills related to adaptive functioning using least restrictive methods • Accepts cases and works within his/her own educational, training, and competency guidelines to ensure ethical and effective treatment delivery KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: - Must possess the ability to analyze complex issues and solve them correctly and creatively
• Must possess strong communication skills in both a verbal and written format • Must possess the ability to meet established deadlines and schedules • Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the clients and the clients family • Must be organized and efficient. Must possess leadership qualities • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to assign directives responsibly in a clear, concise manner • Must be able to implement corrective action relating to the various work situations when appropriate TRAINING: - Must complete initial training curriculum as per company requirements and guidelines
