POSITION SUMMARY: Following initial assessment by Physical Therapist, a Physical Therapy Assistant will continue treatment, re-assessment and appropriate progression of patients in the acute care setting. Recommend and coordinate with the Physical Therapist any changes in the treatment plan. Work as a team with all departments. In addition, the Physical Therapy Assistant shall meet personal accountabilities as defined in the Tenet Target 100 standards of Service, People, Quality, Growth and Cost.
Qualifications: Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant training program.
Education/experience working with adult and geriatric disabled population.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
Current California license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
