Position Summary
The Department Director has a multi-faceted role with primary responsibility for assessing, planning, directing, implementing and evaluating all activities in assigned Department, including the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, on a 24 hours basis. The Director is responsible for providing counseling and disciplinary action for all members of his/her department in accordance with Human Resources Guidelines. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of an ongoing process and quality improvement program. The Director communicates and collaborates with other department staff for problem identification and resolution. Through the Director, activities are coordinated with other departments. Maintains professional knowledge and skills related to specific area of responsibility.

Education/Other Qualifications
- Requires BS in PT, OT, or SLP, and State licensure in related field.
- Management experience of 3 years required.
- Knowledge of reimbursement, state and Federal Regulations regarding PT, OT, and ST services.
- Medicare knowledge required.
