You Will Be Responsible For:

Provide spiritual support for all administrative and clinical initiatives in the organization.

Provide crisis intervention support for team members experiencing emotional trauma due to adverse outcomes.
Prompt and regular attendance at departmental staff gatherings, chapel services and special events
Engages in continuing education annually and completion of CBL’s in a timely manner.
Provides daily work direction to Chaplains.
Assist Administrative Director Mission & Ministry with oversight of department
Provides mentoring and leadership to CPE students and interns
Is conversant with current issues in ethics, palliative care, Advance Directive and end of life.
Uses departmental resources effectively

What You Will Need:
· Master of Divinity or equivalent meeting the Association of Professional Chaplains requirements
· Minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by Association for Clinical Pastoral Education
· Ordination/commissioning or Licensure as minister in good standing with the Seventh-day Adventist Church
· Eligible for Board Certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains
Clinically trained minister serving as partner with the Admin Director Mission & Ministry as the spiritual leader responsible for providing spiritual care to our customers and their families, partners, and team members. Participates as a member of the healthcare team in evaluating spiritual needs, provides one to one, short-term spiritual support to patients, families and care team members in inpatient, outpatient, urgent-care, corporate and other specialized care settings. Also provides supportive brief spiritual counseling and community referrals, following a comprehensive spiritual wholeness assessment of concerns. Provides in-services, seminars and/or workshops for team members and community in various areas of need. Actively supports Mission integration through initiatives such as Spiritual Ambassadors and Creation Health within the organization and in the community.
