PEER SUPPORT APPRENTICE
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Veteran is defined as a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable. The Peer Support Apprentice is aligned under the Social Work Service, in the the HUD VASH Program. The HUD VASH Program is a community-facing program, providing services in the homes of Veterans, in emergency shelters, drop-in centers, and other public locations. The Peer Support Apprentice will work closely with the HUD VASH case management team to provide quality, recovery-oriented services to Veterans experiencing homelessness, complex medical conditions, mental heath diagnoses, and substance use disorders.
