National Mental Health Director for Quality Assurance & Improvement (Psychologist)
The Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (OMHSP) in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is responsible for providing strategic guidance for improving the quality of mental health care for over one and a half million Veterans nationwide. Services are provided for a broad range of mental illnesses and substance use disorders, with particular emphasis on full, effective implementation of mental health services as outlined in the Uniform Mental Health Services Handbook and policies.
