The Regional Director of Rehab Services & Healthlink is responsible for the oversight and management of the Baptist Health System Rehab Services, for Inpatient/Outpatient services and Healthlink Patient Clinics and Fitness Centers. Assists with the development and promotion of service lines to achieve name recognition and market leadership via operational efficiency, physician and patient and member satisfaction, and revenue enhancement. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned
Essential Job Duties:
Develops and directs the service line with competitive distinction across the Baptist Health System
Creates a collaborative environment across Baptist Health System to facilitate physician/ patient/customer access
Develops and maintains relationships across all departments within service line
Develops, implements and evaluates annual business plans which include operational and marketing plans for all areas and reports to Market leadership
Collaborates with department directors to directs all aspects of service line clinical operations to include: Clinical, Technical, Financial, Efficiency and Productivity aspects
Establishes and oversees performance benchmarks which meet or exceed national standards for service line care
Serves as system leader for interdisciplinary groups focused on process improvement for service lines
Maintains current knowledge of emerging trends in service line to facilitate clinical and technology decision-making
Establishes and implements standards of service for an atmosphere conducive to high performance and measurable results
Promotes, develops and maintains relationships between physicians and service line
Ensures safety of patients, families and physicians
Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively
Maintains safe environment
Participates in Performance Improvement activities
Bachelorâ��s Degree with a business clinical science focus from an accredited college or university
Masterâ��s Degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or other related field from an accredited college or university
5 years in IP/OP rehab operations or other relevant group or practice management
5 to 7 years in Rehab Services with 5 years progressive leadership experience in the service line.
