Phoenix Children’s is seeking a BC/BE adolescent medicine physician to join the Section of Adolescent Medicine within the Division of Primary, Complex Care, and Adolescent Medicine as a clinician educator faculty member. The Section of Adolescent Medicine provides comprehensive primary and specialty care to youth ages 11-21 years. The faculty member will support the growth of consultative subspecialty services, especially in the areas of eating disorders, youth mental health, sexual and reproductive health, and transition from pediatric to adult care. Experience and interest in the management of eating disorders is preferred but not required. The position offers opportunities for collaboration in clinical program development with other Phoenix Children’s specialties according to individual interests and focus areas. This position also provides opportunities for educational leadership and participation in resident and medical student training through didactic teaching, clinical preceptorship, and mentorship. Academic appointment is available at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, Creighton University School of Medicine, and Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
The staff physician shall provide patient care services and will support the PCH mission of providing hope, healing and the best health care for children and their families.
Education
MD or DO degree. (Required)
Certifications
Current Arizona License to Practice Medicine or the ability to obtain prior to start date. (Required)
Board certified/Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty. (Required)
