Social Worker (Substance Abuse Disorder)
The Substance Treatment Services Social Worker for women Veterans assumes responsibility for the provision of substance abuse services to women veterans who are seen on an outpatient basis in the Substance Treatment Services Team (STS), which is located within the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic or at a CBOC within the Syracuse VAMC catchment area. Services will be provided to women Veterans diagnosed with Substance Use Disorder and related disorders. Basic Requirements: Citizenship. Be a citizen of the United States. (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with chapter 3, section A, paragraph 3g this part). b. Education.
