ISBH is a successful and growing organization with programs and services focused on the development of a full local system of care that meets the needs of all in the communities we serve. A few of our services include community based behavioral health, prevention services, OhioRISE, a youth residential center, counseling, behavioral health medicine, housing, and harm reduction programming. ISBH has a $58M budget and provides services in 21 counties primarily in southeast and central Ohio. ISBH employs close to 600 individuals across the region and provides support to more than 12,000 individuals. The organization has an executive team of five that includes the CEO, COO, CFO, CHRO, and the CCDO. The executive team also works closely and collaborative with all Managing Directors and other leadership positions in a Cross Functional Collaborative Team Model.

Position Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day leadership to foster a culture of accountability, care, and excellence that aligns with organizational values.
Drives the organization to achieve a range of operating efficiencies including service quality, financial stability, and sustained adaptation to the external healthcare environment.
Responsible for participating in the planning and implementation of initiatives that carry out the strategic priorities of the organization and translates vision, mission, and strategy into operational tactics to build organizational support and infrastructure.
Direct the building and implementation, and provide ongoing oversight of the organization's systems, processes, workflows, and procedures.
Ensure that organizational projects and initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage, equipping people to adopt and use changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, organization structures, and more.
Lead operational areas in the integration of programs and alignment of strategy that improve efficiency and quality of services.
Evaluates and analyzes data related to clinical, financial, and operational performance, identifying trends and issues, facilitating the development of timely action plans toward performance improvement.
Identify, develop, and implement new programs and services that meet the needs of our clients and communities utilizing cross-functional collaboration and development of proforma's for proposed new programs and/or services.
Explore, develop, or enhance new and unique revenue and funding streams to support sustainability of the organization.
Negotiate contracts with third-party payors and other agencies and lead the design of value-based reimbursement strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies governing Medicare, Medicaid and managed care services related to all the programs and the rules of all national, state, regulations, certifications, licensing and accreditation requirements by continually monitoring the organization's service delivery, core business functions and initiating changes as required.
Review and monitor local, regional and national affairs, policies, and legislation affecting behavioral health care as well as associated programs and provide advocacy to impact future changes.
Directly supervises operations team members as assigned.
Measures and reports effectiveness of programs, services, and operations.
Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation.
Lead the organization’s efforts to achieve and maintain National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation and Certified Community Behavioral Health Center certification.
Appointed as Clients Rights Officer to ensure a high level of satisfaction among persons served.
Carries out leadership responsibilities as requested by the CEO, including representing the organization at external meetings, preparing and making presentations to the Board of Directors or other stakeholders.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Clinical licensure (LISW, LPPCC, IMFT, RN, Psy D., or similar) preferred.
Demonstrated leadership that supports diversity, equity and inclusion within the organizational culture.
10+ years of progressive leadership in a complex organization inclusive of three years of executive level leadership experience.
Experience managing an operating budget of 15M+.
Demonstrated knowledge of and appreciation for mission-based, non-profit organizations
Proven record of active community engagement and leadership
Success in the areas of strategic planning, coalition building (both internal and external), organizational capacity building, and financial management
Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
Exemplary record of team development in an inclusive environment that promotes cultural competency.
Ability to make sound decisions in emergent situations and to provide support for those involved.
Knowledgeable in healthcare claims processing.
Experience working with numerous healthcare reimbursement strategies including but not limited to value-based reimbursement strategies and IV-E funding strategies.
Experience managing Federal grant funding (SAMHSA, HRSA) as well as Federal or state contracting.
Broad knowledge of community service systems and comfortable with mediation process.
Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
