The Hammond VA Clinic, in Hammond, LA, has an immediate opening for a full-time (8/8ths), board-certified/board-eligible Primary Care physician to join out Medical Care Line. The Primary Care physician will be a part of a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and will collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care. The physician will work in a setting with other PACTs and will provide cross cover as needed. The Primary Care physician will collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care at the Hammond Community-Based Outpatient Clinic.

Highlights of this position include:
Competitive Salary: $235,000 - $240,000
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Must be a U.S. Citizen. (Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found)
Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
We offer:
Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans, up to $200K over 5 years, if approved.
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)
Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
