Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Weekend Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center. The schedule for this position is minimally one weekend day per month or one holiday per month. As a part of the Department of Psychiatry, the NP will join a large and supportive team, and will be eligible to participate in grand rounds and attend educational seminars.

The NP will be responsible for providing clinical coverage for the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and will work collaboratively with the weekend Per Diem Psychiatrist to ensure psychiatric coverage for all psychiatric inpatients on both weekends and holidays. The NP will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, follow-up, and medication monitoring for patients admitted to the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit.
